Description:

When you leave the main trail aim for the waterfall, its not very big. follow the talus slop just left of the Nez pierce spire. After you leave the waterfall, follow the trail at the base of wall, not too far is a big overhang, which is good place to get geared up and leave the packs. This 5 pitch route starts at left side of the south face of the wall. Walkoff is to the back, and take the gully on the East. When you are coming down you will hit a cliff wall. Look for a tree that looks like a big Bonsai tree, this is your way down. Make sure you have 2 ropes for this rappel, it will put you down not too far where you left your packs

5 out of 5 stars Great first multipitch with hanging belays

lead up, great placements throughout climb. 5 pitches. I only found ~5 ticks on me which is nothing compared to Mill Creek's 50+. As for bringing two ropes, you can rap of with a single 60 from the bonsai tree to another substantial trunk in the middle. Just make sure you tie a knot in the end of your rope. Great views with a few mountain goats. Enjoy! p.s. does anyone know anything about the scarpa technos that are sitting there on top? Must be able to climb ~5.10 if you attempt this climb. Many variations
