Description:

The first pitch is definitely the best. It begins with a short bulge of 5.5 friction (with one bolt), then follows a fun 5.6 layback to a small ledge. The second and third pitches are less spectacular, involving nebulous 5th-class climbing up a series of easy cracks and ledges to the summit, which is just below the conspicuous orange dot on the back of the dome. A second pitch variation exists which takes a 5.9 crack directly up from the first belay station, as opposed to traversing out the ledge.

Walk-off.

4 out of 5 stars Nice view at sunset

There was nobody at the base of this climb when Lisa, Cindy and I got to the base. Really cool intro climb to take some one on their first multi-pitch. Don't forget your headlamp for the descend if you want to catch the sunset from the top.

3 out of 5 stars 1st P is good

I liked the fist pitch, second was just a scramble. The 5.9 variation looks good though. One funky move at the top of P1.
