Description:
Climb the dihedral with crack. Overhangs slightly at top. One 1/2 inch bolt (courtesy AMC) is the standard rap from the top of the headwall.Descent Options:

Have done many times, just adding for posterity
Not a very good climb, only great for getting down from the Monk or higher climbs. I used to take beginners on this; now I would *much* rather take newbies on either Sleazy Street or Rain of Terror, even if they are harder climbs. This one only has 20 feet of real climbing and is rather boring.

LONGER EASY ROUTE
Rappel Gully is kin to Headwall Route in difficulty and obviously in type of rock but is a little longer with a short "crux" that utilizes a side wall so also a great first ascent for newbies.
