Classic 3-pitch route named for the U.S. Army climbers that first led the route. Pitch 1 follows the crack on the south side of the buttress, to the right of KOR'S CORNER. Pitch 2 follows the same crack to the top of the buttress (Pitch two is a chimney crack. There is a short 3rd pitch (5.6) that will take you to the South Gateway Summit Ridge. 5 out of 5 stars Good toute, very exposed

This route is fun and I think it's more like a 5.7 not a 5.8. It's incredibly exposed to the sun and tourists though. Vertical face with some decent belay ledges. Solid bolt placement, awessommeee view of the Rockies.

4 out of 5 stars great climb

the climb was great!! scary at parts where the sandstone was falling apart and holds coming off! other than that it was a great climb! I only led first two pitches and linked them together into one and double rope rapelled off second pitch belay.
