Description:

Left (west) of the fence, start under the huge and obvious roof up high; small crack begins about 15 feet off the ground. Stick clip (or otherwise) place the first piece of pro, and aid the crack until you can free-climb. Work the crack up and then left, past the 2-bolt belay station; belay at the cedar tree a little way higher. 2nd pitch goes up the chimney crack above the belay. Tops out through upper slab/gulley. 3 out of 5 stars Aid? In the midwest?

Fun first pitch to go with Blue Roof. Put them together for a sustained trad lead that offers great protection for the first 80 feet, with one headsy move near the top. This pitch is a 9, combine the two and you have a nice sustained 10.
