Description:

This is a fun route only if you can get off the tram at Tower 3. Otherwise it is a long hike and not worth the approach. If you get off tower 3 hike south to a road (cat-track in winter), follow the road to a faint foot trail winding steeply down between some trees. The trail will take you to the base of a huge dead tree. From there go west along the rock face to a two bolt anchor. You will have to use some gear in order to rap down. From the bottom of the rappell you have a whole bunch of choices of routes to your right. It is two pitches and you can go anywhere as long as the last pitch anchor is the rap anchor you used to start. The variation I did was 5.6 but I am sure there are others both more difficult and easy.
