Description:

Fun and easy 3 pitch spire. Start on N. side between Streaker and Christianity spires. 4th class up to top of limestone band. Pitch #1: 130+ foot easy traverse right on top of limestone band to bolted belay. Protected with a couple bolts and a pin. Pitch #2: Up wide crack off belay, then right to long, easy low angle crack to tree belay and ledge. Pitch #3: Straight up from ledge to fun steep, flared chimney. Belay off bolts about 25 east at the top of this pitch. Rap back to limestone band. Two single rope raps. Tradition dictates that this spire be climbed naked, hence the name. Climb it on a hot day, it is in the shade most of the day.

4 out of 5 stars Streaker Spire

5.7 ++++++++++++ with hard moves off the belay on pitch 2 and a challenging roof to a squeeze slot at the top out. There were some lecherous "streakers" on the spire today!

5 out of 5 stars best weather I have ever seen in sedona

Took 3 friends down for a great moderate climb.
Good for newer folks and also got me thinking a little on the 3rd pitch.

4 out of 5 stars Hmmm

Kind of tough for the grade, last pitch will get you thinking protection wise.
