Description:

This boulder is located on the left side of the "Old miner's Trail" and is named because it looks like a monkey face sticking out of the hill side. "Planet of the Apes" is the first established problem on this boulder but there are many other undeveloped lines on as well. Start matched in the crimper rail with a foot in a slopy hold and pop right to the slopy lip, pop left to the lip and hand over hand up the lip. Heal hook and reach to a dish on the monkey’s eye brow and pivot on the right foot and match on the dish. Step up and move left so the dish is between your thighs and step into it and top out on a sketchy beached wail mantle press.

Wooo hoo I got the first assent of this route man did that feel awesome. The topout is the crux in my oppinion because of the insecure mantle press involve on a very slopy dirty top out.
