A very steep hike with a bit of 4th class climbing. Nearly 10,000 feet of elevation gain!

I started out on the East Fork and traversed east to Miller creek near the narrows area. I climbed towards Miller peak and after several hundred feet into the snow tongue I was able to traverse west to pop up on the summit of Mt. San Jacinto.
This was a fun time but I would not recomend it for inexperienced mountaineers.
A permit is required by the water district.
