Approach from the PCT, a climbers trail leads up the south ridge, the 1st part where most will rope up is the crawl wich is about 5.0 the next is the final pitch to the summit wich is about 5.2

5.2 is stiff
The summit pinnacle is actually pretty mellow, but I don't know if it is 5.2 mellow. Whats the real difference in 5.2 an 5.6 though? Its easier than 5.7 and the real is abundant so whatever. Its fair to say everything below the summit pinnacle is 5.2, maybe the initial poster isn't going to the table size summit block that looks and feels like it will blow away someday?

Fun
Left car at 5 p.m., on summit just before sunset at 8:30 p.m. Back to car at 11 p.m.
Rope was nice for rap from top. Lots of loose rock everywhere but the route was pretty solid. Fun ridge scramble!

I've climbed Jack twice by this route now. It's a fun climb with alot of exposure. Know your stuff, as it is not wise to leave the gear behind.
