Description:
Leo Houlding freed the upper pitches (5.13) when I was in the Valley this summer (2001). More to be added later. I also might change the rack when I get my climbing journal. Most of the bolts have been replaced in the last few years so the belays and the bolt ladders are bomber.Descent Options:
2 slabby raps off the back and then a bunch down a gully system to the south. All rap anchors are good.

ugh
high-90s in the valley, got absolutely baked. this route is a pain to rappel with the down-clipping, don't think of that as your storm strategy because it takes longer.
our stuff sacks were nibbled on on the ahwanee. p5 is longer than the guide says and some fixed gear is missing, although you don't need it. (just longer reaches.)
p6 free moves are very unprotected, but perhaps easier than 5.7.
