Description:

F.A. Matt Schutz and Dave Daly, Aug 2005 This route starts at the toe of the SE face, next to the gully between Gray Eagle and Red Eagle. Additionally, the start is signatured by white rock and follows the center portion of the face (3 bolts, .10a) up towards a large roof. Pass the roof on its left and head up to a corner (2 bolts, 200 ft). Continue up and right, passing the left facing corner near the belay. Lots of knobs to protect with slings and nuts. One protection bolt is found 25 ft off the belay. This pitch ends at the first 20 feet of a crack system (1 bolt and nut placement, 195 ft). Last pitch starts by heading up and right on steep knobs (sweet climbing!). Pass 3 protection bolts along the way and use nuts to protect in between. Continue up on steep knobs to a large crack leading to the summit. The anchor is located at a natural hole (2 bolts, 190 feet). The rappel route is just 25 yards to the right.
