Description:

Down past the Golden Dreams wall, and a bit before the tunnel, there is a large "chimney" seemingly filled with a few large blocks. This would be the spot. Start up on the left side of the "crack" and make your way round to the right, somewhere about midway. Then go up the diheadral and top out.

Yup, it's 5.6. I've always called this "East Pillar Chimney", but as you note, it's really a wall of stacked boulders stuck in a huge chimney.

This one isn't in the guidebook, and is quite a compelling climb. I am told it is 5.6, but.....it's not a 5.6 for the feint of heart. What it is, is one helluva though, and requires commitiment and perseverence. I was scared shitless, and the fact that I did not know if the line had ever been done before made it just so much more intriguing.
