Description:
Face and crack climb (5.10 plus - circa 1978). FFA: Dick Richardson, Andy Solow and Vince Hernandez. From Trac II, walk down the south side of the pass until a large face can be seen 1/4 mile to the west. The face will have two right slanting cracks. Up and right 80' from these cracks a large ledge with a cave at its right edge can be seen. There will be another crack 20' to the right of this cave. (1) Up face past four bolts to the belay bolts. (2) Climb face to the right, just below crack, until a bolt is reached. Then up 20' to ledge with belay bolts. (3) Reach around right side of cave to two bolts. Go up and right (5.10 plus) to base of crack with bolt, up crack past fixed pin to summit.
