Description:

About 30' right of Fender Bender is a line of bolt on the slabby wall. The locals call it 5.8 but I felt it was pretty spicy for the grade.

4 out of 5 stars White Slab

I believe this route is called White Slab in the Handren guidebook. It has four bolts and then minimal gear to the top. I managed to get a small TCU in a slot between the fourth bolt and the anchors. Once you gain the fourth bolt it's pretty much over. Otherwise, it's quite tough for 5.8. The first bolt is about 25' up and would be heady for someone short.

0 out of 5 stars Ascent Note

This is the route that you see the picture of Malcom Daly climbing (he has a false foot) on the top of this webpage. Our clinic class was talking turns climbing this on top rope while waiting for our to mock-lead the corner to our left.
