Description:

Walking right along the base from the two white rock faces there will be a large dip and a nice landing zone in front of a 45 degree section before the vertical rock. Start up the middle of the crag following the broken face features up and towards the right side of the pinnacle past a tree to the top. The name came from using the tree as a belay station, legs around each side of the tree with a hip belay and ya, you know it, using 7/16 inch hemp rope and flossed hemp slings as pro! Those were the days.

Descent Options:

Walk / scramble off the left or right side.
