Description:
This easy route is at the left side of the south face and can be hard to find. The first 5 pitches or so are bolted 4th class slabs, then the route steepens, with the crux having a move or two of 5.8. The route finishes in a tree island about a dozen pitches up the face and is usually rapped although it is possible to scramble up to the summit and walk off. The bolted route known as Speedway very closely follows, and in some cases overlaps, the Beckey/de Jong/Svensson Route which was put up 10 years earlier with no bolts.
