Description:

2 pitches can be split up to 4. First pitch has a nice layback. Second pitch has an awesome hand traverse (3 rusted pins)... Use the lower hand to traverse while using lower feet. Using the higher one makes it much much harder. Belay at the pin after you go around the corner if you worry about not being to hear.

Descent Options:

Rappel chains not too far to the right

5 out of 5 stars The first 40 feet are a great lead for a new leader

Have you climber go to the ledge and build an anchor or go left to the trees. It's 5.3 to the ledge, great gear and a real confidence builder.

5 out of 5 stars p1 harder than a 5.5?

I thought pitch 1 felt just as hard, if not harder than p2. All in all, this climb is superb and deserves far more stars than it is given.

5 out of 5 stars thrilling finish on P2!!

wow, what a finish on P2!! i led this pitch with Dana seconding (we did it as part of a link-up, so didnt get on the first pitch-will have to go back and do it later)
this was a great lead for me and was the hand traverse finish up onto the face was really challenging for me. the pro was great, so i wasnt too worried, it was just hard physically- i was on the highest handholds, and therefore couldnt get me feet on anything solid, so it was just really, really pumpy.
i managed to make the move, but it definitely was not my most graceful lead!! tons of fun though, a great test for 5.6 leader.
