Description:

Andrameda: Obvious crack right of Flying Meat and left of Dr. Hook. Note: This classic route has seem to have been left out of the list of routes in this area like many others soon the be described. A right facing 5.7 crack & dihedral that just sucks up the protection. Best if climbed as two pitches. Belay at the obvious point in the crack system then continue straight up the dihedral to a cedar tree where some extra webbing and a few cams will aid in a belay station. Top out this classic, must experience climb and enjoy the view of the Missouri River.

Descent Options:

Hike down the trail just north of the topout.

4 out of 5 stars classic

Definitely a classic for Missouri. Not necessary to do it in two pitches if you put plenty of runners on the gear in the first half. Don't be afraid to load up the gear before the first real move off of the ledge...

5 out of 5 stars great fun

a true Missouri classic. you have not experienced missouri limestone at its best until you have climbed this beauty. the second pitch has a crack that i think is one of the most fun ten or twelve feet of crack climbing around. you will never forget this great climb!
