Description:
Corner crack to ledge, continue on face to top. Bolted anchors. What they neglect to tell you is how hard it is to pull out of the knee bar, no hands rest and pull out without your rope going straight into the 10mm wide crack thus causing you to have to get back into the no holds rest and unjam your rope. After that you have to surmount a v2 boulder problem on questionable gear, facing a 15ft ground fall... Yea...Descent Options:
lower on bolted anchors or escape right after crack and descend from slung tree.

Not sure who's calling this 5.9, but from the first ascent on it's always been called 10a. This historic route was the second route to be put-up at Bubba City, climbed just hours after the Bubba City's first route (Face it Bubba) was established.

5.9? Not really
Stiff for 5.9. The comment about the groundfall potential is way off. You can protect the move onto the first "ledge" to get into the dihedral just fine. I'd give it 9+ in all honesty. Really fun route though. The skulls on the ledge are cool...

This 5.9 was...um...humbling. It took me about 20mins to get up the nerve to pull the v2 boulder problem buuut... Onsight! :)
