I utilized these shelves as a 3-move sort of pull-up practice with a sit start. Started at base of shelves with feet on sort of textured base of rock at wide angles. Little nook off to the right was perfect for R hand. Pulled up and reached for smaller shelf, moved feet up; pulled up to larger shelf (hands matched), moved feet; one more top out onto flat top lip of boulder (can be wet in spring from moss, be careful!). Pulled up so chin reached hands, then climbed down. Repeat as many as possible.
