Fun, tough Crack climb
This was a fun crack climb but has some difficult moves especially near the top.

Fun variety
This climb has a fun variety. It starts off with big, easy holds and then you climb up a nice crack. From there you can pull yourself up to the top of the "hammer." That's where it gets interesting. Not much for foot holds unless you use the crack at the right and lean into it.
Then you have to traverse to the left to finish the climb. I used a directional right before the traverse to keep climbers from swinging if they fell. There is a bolt right above the hammer.
Fun climb with some tricky moves. Starts off easy but a few spots felt harder than a 5.8.

Great Beginner Route
This one is great for a first time climber. I brought a group of newbies here. It's great because it's easy to hike around the back and top rope it. Lots of ledges for beginners to rest on and a really easy climb.

Great for Beginners
Came back and I took a group of beginners for their first outdoor climb here. I started the kids a little to the left near the crack and it's more like a 5.6. A 5 year old in watersocks climbed all the way to the top.
The start is a little tricky but the rest of the way is easy.

Similar to 5 Gallon
My last climb of the day and I was a little tired. Similar to 5 gallon but gets a little more difficult toward the top with smaller holds.

Popular Quick Climb
I had heard about this route so I had to try it out. It's very popular and for good reason. It's an interesting but not all that difficult climb.
I watched someone climb it in 1:23.

Fun Climb
This was my first climb at Smith. A little tricky but a fun climb. Easy to top rope by hiking around the back of the rock.

Easy climb for beginners or kids.
This is a really easy climb great for kids or for someone's experience with rock climbing. You can hike around Rope-de-dope to put up a top rope. This route is not bolted but does have anchors at the top. There is quite a bit of rope drag.
A 7 year old in our group climbed this. It was the first route he was able to finish in the park.

First Lead
Great confidence builder and great route for a first lead. The begining is a little tricky because there isn't much for foot holds but after the first bolt it's easy.
