Alternate start...
I started by climbing the steep corner that's down and to the right, and up the crack to the small pine tree, then worked left to the bolts and up. Makes the route significantly longer - and longer=more fun!

Tougher than the book rating...
Actually an interesting climb - a beginning leader needs to be either bold or have access/dropped a load of cash on big gear to get on the upper section of the dihedral. Nice long pitch - 60m rope needed to do in 1 pitch to the rap tree.

Nice crystal-pinching route.
Nice route - crux section a bit longer than on most other moderate routes at Old Rag. Bolts were caulked and look to be in decent shape.

Pretty fun...bring big pro.
Took advantage of the dry, cool weather (rare in July, though common this summer) - which made Bombay completely dry. I used a crack directly below it leading to a vegetated ledge.
