Hey everyone, i was hoping to get a little info on great places to spend a summer. A little info first. I spent the summers from age 15-18 hanging out and sport climbing in Tensleep Wyoming, the next few in and out of colorado and the last three summers in Yosemite. I want to climb alot this summer, but the valley is just to crowded. I enjoy long trad routes and desert towers, easy walls, and great views. I was considering squamish, the needles, wind river range, ect. I am looking to beat the crowds( a long hike in is not a problem). Any details on great places to spennd the summer would be greatly appreaciated. I am looking for details like cost of camping, how close to civilization, crowds, rock quality and style of climbing. Let the summer begin.

There are 4 canyons in Utah I highly recommend. Little Cottonwood Canyon, Maple Canyon, Rock Canyon and American Fork Canyon. All except for Maple Canyon are very close to large towns. LCC = Granite with some bouldering - American Fork= Steep Limstone - Rock Canyon= Quartzite at the bottom, Limestone up top. - Maple= Cobble Madness!!!! All are very scenic canyons. Have fun!!!
