In reply to: In reply to: I think it's a good idea to link the original URL when posting a news story... I did at the bottom of the post, replicated here: Many thanks to the Sacramento Bee for this inspiring story. I also made an editorial choice not to include all of the pictures. We can discuss that in a PM. In reply to: Also, I thought it would be nice to also link Lover's Leap Guides, since they played a large part in making this event happen, as well as arranging Mark's slide show and raffle later that evening in the lodge. Nice addition. Thanks. Hope you also noticed my addition of the URL for DSUSA. Nope. You linked the Index Page for the Sac Bee, not the URL to the story itself. My point is that it is nice to see the article (and all of the photos) in the manner of which it was presented. It is also common protocol to link a direct URL when reproducing a published article. I indeed saw the DSUSA link, and I thought it would be nice to also link the others for balance. It's all good! Hardman Knott

This is how I posted about the story on the Supertopo Forum... You posted here in your style; I posted there in mine. It's apples and oranges, and as I said before, it's all good! :) I think it's nice that you posted the story to the front page. In any event, it's a cool story about a cool event. Hardman Knott
