I think some of the info in this article is a little outdated, particularly the number of routes and the quality of the bolts. There are many more routes now, and, generally speaking, I think the pro is decent. The older climbs are certainly more sporty.

I didn't really notice the bolt spacing being "run out." I thought the routes were comfortably bolted. Yankee Clipper and Snot Girz are must do climbs there (Yankee clipper has a registry). Make sure you go to the market for tacos and have a great time!

I'd agree generally with this article and I certainly had a good time down there.
However, it's worth emphasizing the loose rock issue. My wife and I had a close call with a large loose block pulled off by a climber above us, and there have been deaths and serious injuries caused by rockfall.
Be aware of this and take proper precautions, such as this is one of the few mostly sport areas that I'd recommend bringing a helmet to.

As a climber who lives in monterrey and has this place just 45 min. from his house I can definately say ......
POTRERO ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of the info IS a little off, but in general he's got the idea.
Dont hesitate on coming down to potrero, you wont be disapointed.
