Pheonix Bouldering Contest on April 7th. Register at Rocklist.com. Last year, the Phoenix Bouldering Contest was brought back after failing to happen in 1999 for the first time in 17 years. Why was the PBC brought back? The answer is quite simple - the sponsors, climbers and organizers missed it. Amazingly, this answer further reveals a basic formula for not only the PBC\'s past success but also its future success: Adequate Sponsorship, Ample registrations, and A-1 Organization. Without all 3 of these, the PBC could potentially not happen again. So, if you have any interest in sponsoring the PBC please contact us now. It\'s never too late. If you have never registered for a PBC or have planned on returning, don\'t delay - register right now. As long as the interest and financial support are there, the A-1 Organization will be there. Let\'s ALL make the 18th Phoenix Bouldering Contest the best yet! This year, Phoenix Climbing Competitions, Inc. has a full schedule of events that promise to make the 18th PBC the best one yet. These activities include the Sterling Rope \"Tug of War\", the 2nd Overstock.com \"Dyno\" Competition and the Superior Challenge where climbers can see just \"how fit\" they are. If you have had enough of competition, many other fun events will be going on all weekend including the Access Fund Live Auction, \"Pro\" Clinics, Vending/Trade Fair, Live Music, Contest Prize Lotteries, etc. So mark April 6-8, 2001, on your calendar! If you have not attended a PBC before this might be your last chance to participate in a \"grass roots\" event that has grown into the largest, most succesful climbing competition/party in the world. Be there!!! If you are not a climber, or simply do not wish to compete, come and check it out. The Vending/Trade Fair has climbing equipment and outdoor clothing for sale at \"fantastic\" prices. And if that is not enough reason, then come and listen to live music. You might just \"kick up your heels\" and start dancing. No matter what your reason, we hope to see you there!
