My dad started teaching me how to climb when i was 8 years old. it was just something fun that i did once in a while until i stopped at age 14 when I lost my leg to cancer. at about 17 I started climbing again and five years ago i developed a special prosthesis that helped my climbing jump from 5.9 to 5.12. I\'ve been off for two years due to a broken big toe on my real foot fallowed by smashing my hand with a 2800 lb. oil pipe. I\'m back at it now working back up to the .12\'s and hoping to brake 5.13 this summer.
