I learned how to rapel when I was 8 yrs old by an ex-military uncle. I then wanted to learn how to get back up the cliff I had just jumped off of. I then taught myself how to climb. By the time I was nine I was pretty good. I now climb at The Austin Greenbelt, and am currently looking for a partner to climb with. I am having trouble finding someone my age. I am weird when climinb in that I dont wear climbing shoes. I wear my regular shoes, but they work ok for me.
