I am a recent transplant to Colorado. I'm still learning to find my way around. If you are in the area and want to slackline give me a shout.
Climbing wise, I'm still finding my way around so I'd make a lousy guide to the Boulder area. Most of my climbing time has been in nothern Arkasas (Sam's Thone or Horseshoe Canyon Ranch) or during off times at Petra Rock Gym. I've made amazing hommage trips to Joshua Tree and Moab Utah and plan to venture out more as work allows.
I still rate myself as a trad apprentice, but do it occasionally. Now that I am no longer on gritty fall apart in your hand sandstone I plan to work on it much more.
I managed to get into slacklining pretty heavily. I've got a rep as a engineer and my friends kept bugging me to make them simple slacklines so somehow I ended up in business making them. I started Slackline Express in early 2003. After graduation and a year working in the educational field I have now been able to make it my full time job and we employ a couple full timers and a half dozen part time employees. I know I'll never get rich at it but I find it fun to meet all of the people and help promote the sport.
I am the former club advisor for their Natural High Club: http://studentorganizations.missouristate.edu/naturalhigh and am always up for sharing/teaching outdoor sports with others. I graduated in 2003 with a business / computer degree from Missouri State and a Communication / Administrative Studies Masters degree in 2005. I worked full time for the university as their technical trainer and oversaw the entire univerity's staff technology training program.
