Looked at the website: when did Whitney become 14, 505? I thought it was still 14494.

I'm don't recall the exact date of the elevation correction. The summit plaque still read the old elevation. However, Mt. Whitney sits at an elevation of 14505ft/4421m above sea level acording to the United States Geodetic Survey using the GT1811 benchmark of the NAVD88 coordinate system.
