I'm planning on upgrading the liners in my boots to the Intuition Denali liners and have a question about the arch supports. I know they are moldable to your feet but I'm still a little worried about the support. Without good arch support my feet don't last too long in the mountains. Has anyone tried using these in conjunction with another insole? If so were they molded with the insole in place?
In a related question does anyone know if the Scarpa High Altitude liners are made with the intuition foam? I tried searching their website but it isn't playing nicely with my computer for some reason.

IIRC Intuition recommends molding without footbeds. If that doesn't work for you then remold them with a footbed in place. I think they're good for about 5 remolds give or take. Might take a few tries to get them right with different toe caps, socks, etc.

Depends on the boots you are putting them in.
Half custom beds tend to work best with non-ski boots. You dont really want prominent toe imprints that full length footbeds create. they tend to rub when hiking.
I am surprised that intuition recomends fitting without the beds.. I will simply state that is definately incorrect.

I just looked up the Intuition FAQ and I overstated their recommendation.
In reply to: 5. Does Intuition recommend using footbeds with the liners? Summary answer: - Footbeds aren't necessary except when you have orthotic footbeds but its your personal preference and very much dependent on your foot. Note that Intuition's standard liner has between 12mm to 9mm of high density foam on the foot area which is more then enough support. Some liners (eg the Scarpa Speed Liner or the Krypton liner) has even less foam because the users almost always want to use footbeds. Intuition recognizes this so thins out the foot area to leave room for the footbed.
