I was searching the forums for information on Huantsan (the infamous mountain in Peru) and was astonished to find nothing about it. Its nickname is the "K2 of the Andes" for a reason. First climbed by Lionel Terray in 1952, together with two dutch clients. That does not mean that it is an easy mountain, I believe that since then no more than 15 rope teams have been to the summit. Does anybody have the actual figure? Anyway, I am starting to actually consider an attempt this coming season, so any information about it will be really appreciated. (that of course means, information BESIDES that which is found in Brad Jhonson's guidebook)
