Hi Folks, After several seasons climbing leashless with Quarks, I am making the transition to real leashless tools, old style Nomics. I have climbed on them a couple of times, and I really like them. Here's my question: what are some good ways to incorporate the higher grip position into upward progression? I find the higher grip comfortable as a rest position, because I can get my arms straight(er), and I like the higher grip when traversing and matching hands, but how else can it be used? I imagine I could move my hands up to the higher grip, and walk my feet up in small steps, as a way to gain more height with each placement. Anything else? Thanks, Bruno

when traversing, ill place the tool, then put one on my shoulder then place both on the tool. Your limit is your imagination in terms of how to use your tools. just make sure your sporting two hammers, no adzes.
