I got these with some Dynafit ski mountaineering boots. Anyone know what they are?

They look like they might be stiffeners that mount on the liner at the top of the cuff, in the back (i.e. just below your calf). My Scarpa's have a similar device. It's to adjust the height/stiffness of the liner for comfort vs performance. They might also be for boot fitting as a way to take up inner volume - maybe they notch in down by the toe. The best answer is pull the liners out of the boot and just look around. You'll eventually find the female end to the hasps.

Yeah there is a flap at the back of the liner which they fit into. However, i can't see these little plastic things making any noticeable difference. I stuck on in and couldn't feel it or notice any increase in stiffness. Also odd how there are 5 of each.

You won't feel any difference standing around in your bedroom. It's only when you're skiing and all of a sudden wind up in the backseat - the stiffeners will prevent the top of the shell from digging into your calf.

Ok cool. Will give them go with and without :) Anyway you're the only one on a few touring forums that has been able to figure the mystery out. Cheers!
