I found a beautiful thin seem up the wall at an old quarry today. I know that marble is not standard climbing fare - anyone have experience nailing this stuff? I assume it's fine and ready for an FA.

Marble is simply a metamorphic rock, at one point it was limestone or dolomite. After heat and pressure it recrystalized. As long as the cliff itself is stable, sometimes old quary walls need scaling, you should be fine. Use proper judgment.
You have a 80% chance of it being safer than aiding in the Canadian Rockies... at least that would be my guess.

There’s an old Quarry out in Riverside CA that was dubbed the death pit for the longest time, it was all lose and dangerous. A lot of it has been cleaned up by local climbers though. Anyways road cuts and rock quarries are dangerous, I would repel from the top and kick at the rock and nock any lose rock off first. I would definitely go for it though.
