As just a quick response, the first shot isn't bad; personally, I like it. Perhaps debatable, but it seems a touch overexposed. I like the pose and the colours are decent, but I think I might prefer if you had shot just a bit wider and perhaps framed the shot just a little higher. The second and third shot sort of look like he's standing on flat ground and trying to pry the rock up with his hands. I think it's the tree that's screwing up my perspective... either that or the people on the ground are defying gravity. The third image is definitely over exposed.

Oh, I can't tell the difference between who's posting random photos and who's asking for critique... I suppose that's why we separated out the forums in the first place.
