No replies yet so I'll bite. #1 - Nothing too interesting about this one, other than the fact that you took it while on lead? #2 - Good composition and scenery. Tough to get the rock exposed properly without blowing out the sky. Photoshop can fix this but it might look unnatural. #3 - Beautiful photo. I'm unsure about the barbed wire. I think I would have moved over a bit and got a fence post with it. Or just PSed them out... #4 - Get lower. Typically you don't want to look down on your subject unless you want to give a diminished feel. Also consider Rule of Thirds. #5 - Your PowerShot probably has Flash Exposure Compensation. I would recommend a light fill flash here, so you can darken the exposure (background) without darkening your subject. Nice photos overall!

Also in number three I would have moved so the grass wasn't in the shot... or moved so that it was in more of the shot. In number 5... get that black bag out of the picture!!!
