Saturday, January 21st. Kids comp in the morning. Adult comp in the afternoon. We've got a strong team of local setters, as well as ABS setters coming to town to help out. Tons of problems at all grades. Call the gym at 909-931-5991 for details. Hope to see you there!

They've all but lost their two best setters: Kodee and Chris Righter. Louie, unfortunately, doesn't set routes there often, either. The irony is that copies of Louie's Art of Routesetting are sitting right in the display case at the front desk. It would be nice if the routesetters there actually read the book. Jay

Yeah, but it's in dire need of cleaning too :D I wish we had a shiny new gym, right here in Redlands, with auto-belays, "real rock" walls, etc. I'd pay a lotta $$ monthly for a place like that.

OK guys, while I don't think their normal setters are all that bad, I was talking about "local" in a broader definition - meaning So Cal locals. Myself, Kenny Suh (from the ARC), Matt Hulet (from Rock City), and setters from other local gyms will be helping out. In addition, Kodee and Chris will both be setting (from Hangar 18). If you guys are down on the normal setting come to the comp or climb there in the month following and I guarantee you'll have tons of new problems to climb, in much more diverse styles than normally seen at the gym. - Louie

Good luck to all the H18 crew at the comp. Wish I could be there..... Missing Cali after spending the past few months here in rainy, cold, New Jersey..... (P.S. Blame TREVER for the setting problems) (P.P.S. Just kidding Trev...)
