The Bolivarianos Games are competitions done in South America. This competitions belong to the Olimpic Cycle. What does this has to do with Climbing??? Well... Sport Climbing is one of the disciplines on which the athlethes compete on the Bolivarianos Games So... Climbing already belongs to the Oplympic Cycle and very soon will be part of the Olympics. The Venezuelan Climbing and Mountainering Federation is one the Organizations that are really pushing this very hard so that happens... What do you think??? Are you OK with climbing getting to the Olimpics?? You think this should have been done long time ago??? Do you know about any organization trying to achieve this???

I don't think it would work because then all of the climbers would have to stop smoking up . The first snowboarding gold medalist (I think it was gold) almost got dq'd for pot. (Hmmmmm... where have climbers seen this issue before). I think climbing has its place in the olympics, but I'd rather have it kept put. Too much sensationalism, and you could bet that Nike, Adidas and the like would start pushing the industry where it doesn't belong (even though they already tried once [I think it was Reebok or somethin'])
