We are currently in search of a new climbing coach for our collegiate climbing team at Adams State University located in Alamosa, CO. The position is designed as a Graduate Assistant position so the position pays for graduate tuition at Adams State plus an $8000/yr salary. Pursuit of a graduate degree is not mandatory. see the attached job description to learn more.

Are you planning on actually winning any competitions? I know they say, "Those who can't, teach," but seriously, 5.9?

Seriously?
5.9? What is this "team" made of? Gumbies?
The climbing coach at my local gym boulders V11-V12, and has sport climbed mid 5.13.
Honestly, I think someone who can only climb 5.9 is not qualified to coach athletes to success.

We have not placed less than second in the rocky mountain collegiate climbing conference within the last three years and many of our climbers are nationally ranked.
If you do not like our current standards please send me your resume at mhartley@adams.edu and maybe you will be granted an opportunity to change them.

The only hit I got Googling "Rocky Mountain Collegiate Climbing Conference" was your post. Are there actually more than two colleges in it?
