I've been hearing rumors about their being a 2003 gorge games. Any truth to this? The website says it's cancelled but that was back in the winter.
Any info would be much appreciated.
Dates?
Events(not just climbing related).
Thanks.

the offical gorge games ( http://www.gorgegames.com/ ) says stuff is cancelled. http://www.gorgegames.com/pr.htm

Looks like ford decided to go at it alone and call it something else
thier event is At Beaver Creek, Colorado, July 17-20

http://www.fordadventuresportchallenge.com/

Looks like there is a $20,000 purse for climbing .. that's prety nice.

yeah it sucks.. the Gorge Games are no longer. so you'll have to go to Colorado for the Ford Adventure Series.

may take some time but Oregon will probably replace the games.

peace

Standing at the bottom of the wall, staring slack jawed up this one-of-a-kind contoured structure, you might start to wonder if you can take the stairs. Leaving the toughest problems to the world?s best, the Climbing competition at the Ford Adventure Sport Challenge will require strength, balance and power. This event features a limited number of climbers so secure your spot now.

Hey World's best, they're talking to you!
So what kind of rack should I bring?

A standard rack would do .. but I imagine if you had a DD, and a tight shirt you would have a better chance at getting your photo on the cover of their itinerary magazine next year
