In reply to: Does anyone know what the arrangments are for the LRC comp?? camping? entertainment? etc... is it going to be at the Cricket Pavilon again?? who all's going?? last comp in the series... i just have to not get tired of bouldering in the next 2 weeks! (i'm itching to get on some long cracks) i'm going to try to motel it. a nonsmoking room w/ 2 double beds goes for approx $45/night. anyone want to split a room? iirc, the pavillion itself was a bit hostile to the act of sleeping. the cold, the hard cement floors, a virtual echo chamber of sounds, and bright overhead lights (nearly had me believing that i was attempting to camp in an airport terminal) wasn't hospitable. i bailed, for the motel, last year, too. let's hope for good weather

hey i'm going to LRC. I was wondering if you can sleep in your car? Or do you have to park in a garage? I hope they are giving out free beer.

I'll be the scrawny kid trying to throw down on V3s in a group from VT, and weather permitting, will be styling my purple Westvaco paper mill shirt.

I have no idea what I'll be wearing or driving... I think we are car camping saturday night, so we may have to borrow a vehichle since Simon and I normally car camp in his truck, but we will have his sis with us, so we need extra room... I'm staying at the Days Inn on Friday night... but if anyone wants to meet up and go somewhere cheap for dinner or anything, just let me know... can't wait... peace

Anyone know what happened to Ernie Cruz? Was he hurt, bumped up, or what? And what was the deal with the beer? The light was decent, but when 3 beers doesn't even give me a buzz, somthing is up. Either way LRC was an awesome awesome boulder field, and I'm psyched for the next time I can wander down that way. Theres a V2 finger crack(the name escapes me) that needs to learn its lesson
