sorry this is getting out so late but i wanted to let you guys know about the 6th annual ucla 'dangling bruin' rock comp. The comp is at the local rockwall on campus and is open to absolutely anyone who would like to compete (actually most of our participates are not ucla people anyway). It's 5 dollars pre register and 10 at the door. The comp in tues (tomorrow) night starting at 5pm. It's a really chill comp so you could show up an hour late or something and still be fine. Climbing goes till like 9 or 9:30 (i forget) and then awards and junk are handed out. We'll have a beg. int. and adv for men and women. with problems ranging from v0-v10 and topropes 5.6-5.13a so if your in that range your more than welcome (beginners are definetly welcome). It's alot of fun and mostly just a big hang out time with other climbers in the la area. Good time to meet new partners and stuff for outdoor. If you would like to compete or get more info email kayden (the guy in charge) at oarsup at saonet.ucla.edu (replace at with @ of course). Again sorry for the late notice, but is should be alot of fun.
