k, i wasnt sure where to put this so if a moderator moves it its ok. anyway, i was wondering if anyone has some links or suggestions on building a wall? when i was about 10 (im 14 now) i wanted a play house thingy just to mess around in and stuff. well it never got past the floor and 2 walls so we got a lot of wood to use for whatever, the floor section is still intact, its 8'x12' and made of 1/4" thick plywood...is this suitablefor a wall or do i need thicker plywood, ect. thanks!

the standard for climbing wall facing is 3/4" plywood. the t-nuts themselves are 7/16" long. some people will use 5/8" plywood, but eventually the t-nut will sink too far in and poke through the front. please contact me with any questions, we help tons of people do the same thing

I have to agree with cheapholds and use 3/4 inch. I used 3/4 on my wall. I have climbed on 5/8 and could tell a difference. If you do not have much experience with wood working I would recommend a single angle wall with a short vertical section on the bottem (footer). If your good with wood then I would build a more complicated wall. PBJ

everyone check out pawn's site. it's pretty sweet. not much for woody info, as most people who are looking to build a woody probably know the basics of a home wall, but sweet videos.
