are the holes that go through the holds when building your own wall 3/8" in diameter? is it standard or does it vary with the holds? i want to know so i can buy the T-Nuts and the bolts for cheep rather than buying a package online or somethin.

3/8 is pretty standard but honestly I don't know if 5/16 would work since I've never used them, seems like they might be more prone to spinning.

Most hold manufacturers include bolts. Before you buy t-nuts online check your local hardware store for a better deal. In case you didn't know use a 7/16" drill bit to make the holes for the t-nuts and be sure to pound them in straight and as flush as possible.

you should be able to find packages of 3/8 T nuts, $16 can. per hundred at industrial supply stores. local hardware stores may only sell them individualy for 50 cents each, not such a good deal. most of my holds came with Tnuts and the apropriate bolt.

definately go with the 3/8ths! This is the weak link on climbing holds/walls... you don't want to make it weaker!
