Yea I do it whenever I can. It is great endurance training. Try getting on something real easy and just sending it (and down climbing) as many times as you can. It is AMAZING conditioning.

Down climbing is great to build endurance and even technique. However, the only time I usually do it is when I can't get up a route so its usually a pain in the a$$.
