Do you think this would work for framing a 'roof' wall (On the bottom of the frame)? I can't go straight up with the supports because of the garage door track. There is a beam that comes down on the end that I can attach to. I can't place the supports below because I want to climb there... Any advice would be appreciated.

That would work, plus if you can run one straight before the garage door track, that is if the track is not to close to the outside wall, will help.

Nice drawing! What did you use for software to design? I think your construction is going to work fine so long as you lag bolt into the existing walls and hit lots of studs. I'd be sure and use board hangers, like Simpson Strong-ties to join the boards together elsewhere. There is some good info on this site that has many links to good construction stuff: http://www.homerockclimbingwalls.com
