I have just moved in to San Antonio and was bummed when I did not find any gym to practice around town. If anyone knows of a gym in San Antonio, please let me know. Thanks.

there used to be one near Randolph AFB but I think its closed now.

Sadly, no, tragically the only place I know with a climbing wall in all of SA is Sun and Ski Sports. I was a kid when it opened and the wall didnīt seem very big back then, so donīt get your hopes up too high... if memory serves, it should be about the size of a large boulder problem.
They sell gear there too. Lots of important brands (Petzl...), so I guess if you ask the employees there they might be able to point you toward a decent place to climb...

After the Eldorado Wall Company crew left my job site, they were headed to San Antonio to work on some kind of wall. Not sure any details, possibly look on their web site. Eldo Walls are awesome!

You should also check out the wall at UTSA when you get a chance. Haven't seen it personally but I believe it is brand new as well. There is also Red Bluff just outside of town to pull on some natural stuff.

recently found a gym in Boerne "boerne gymnastics" not insanely fancy but a pretty decent place. For $8 you can climb all day on your gear for $11 you can use theirs. nice little overhang on the hard wall but I dont know if yall will consider it difficult I am new to the lifestyle.

OK now the answer is yes , there is a climbing/bouldering gym in San Antonio. 2424 Broadway San Antonio Texas 78215. The number is 210-845-9855. The gym has 24 hour access and is $30 a month.
