I need to know if anybody has any information on home walls. the rates at the local gym are getting too high, and I want to build me own wall in the basement... I have a bare 2x6 wall to fasten it too, and want to creat a bouldering wall at 30 degrees off vertical. I was wondering in anyone knows where I can get some step by step instructions, either by book or on the internet. any responses are appreciated L8R

Greetings from Kelowna! Try this link: http://www.metoliusclimbing.com/howto_buildwall.htm My friends and I are putting up a good sized wall in my basement, and aside from being a bit time consuming, it's really not that hard. Good luck! -Sheppe

Rock & Ice issues #95 and #105 each have a section on a particular way to build a home wall.

There is a whole list of topics similar to your's here http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewforum.php?forum=24 One in particular has photos and stuff... http://www.rockclimbing.com/forums/viewtopic.php?mode=viewtopic&topic=13159&forum=24&start=45 And the one I built is here http://www.orgs.ttu.edu/tturockclimbingclub/pics_woody.htm I like voodoo holds, but other companies like pusher, nicros, metolius, and others make quality holds... Edit... grammar... [ This Message was edited by: tinyball on 2002-11-20 13:44 ]
